Nigerian doctor who groped suicidal woman keeps his job after he blamed 'cultural differences'

A Nigerian doctor, Emmanuel Kanu (pictured above) who touched the breast of a vulnerable divorcee in her home days after she'd attempted suicide will be keeping his job after citing cultural differences. Report from UK Daily Mail

Dr Emmanuel Kanu stroked her breast, repeatedly tried to kiss her and told her, 'You want it' when she tried to escape his clutches during the visit - which he hid from colleagues. When she later texted him to tell him to stop ringing her he withheld his number on the next call.

I believe in self control because if you have sex with every woman that comes your way, then your life is in danger. If I indulge in such acts, I will not look as radiant as I am at my age. Most likely I might have contracted various diseases. If I were a womaniser, I would have thought I contracted a sexually transmitted disease during the time I was critically ill.

Alleged pic of man who committed suicide today by jumping from 3rd Mainland bridge into the Lagoon

Earlier today, I told y'all about a well dressed man who alighted from a car and jumped from the 3rd Mainland Bridge into the Lagoon this morning. The man may have been identified after his body was removed from the sea. See that after the cut *graphic content*

Kyle Norman, a member of early 2000s boy group Jagged Edge was arrested in Atlanta today Jan. 29th after he brutally assaulted his fiancee and made her swallow her engagement ring.

According to Atlanta police, they were called to the home of Kylie Norman around 5am and when they got to the area, they saw a woman with "welts under her eyes, a golf ball-sized knot on her forehead, a cut to her nose and a blood clot in her right eye".

It's on! Lil Wayne sues Cash Money for $51 Million

It's not news that former best friends and business partners Lil Wayne and Birdman have fallen out over money, record deals, and artists under their label. What's new now is that the rapper is suing Cash Money for $51million with the hopes of ending his contract with the label.

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit asking a judge to end his contract with Cash Money. According to the lawsuit, Wayne says Birdman and company violated the deal by withholding tens of millions of dollars Cash Money owes him for his long-delayed album, "Tha Carter V."

Ghanaian singer, actress, TV personality and former beauty queen, Deborah Vanessa, took to her instagram page yesterday to express how happy she was that a Romanian newspaper featured her naked pic on their front cover alongside Kim K. A couple and three of their children were found dead at home after taking a cocktail of drugs in a tragic 'murder-suicide' - to escape "the evil in the world".

Benjamin and Kristi Strack and three of their children, Benson, 14, Emery, 12, and Zion, 11, were found dead in Springville, Utah on September 27 2014.

On Tuesday police said they often discussed religiously-held notions of the apocalypse & orchestrated a multi-drug suicide using methadone and other medication.

Springville Police Department detective Greg Turnbow, the lead officer on the case, said:

Gen. Buhari married Hajia Safinatu in 1971 and they had five children, 4 girls and a boy. She was First Lady of Nigeria from December 1983-August 1985. Buhari divorced her in 1988 and married Aisha Buhari in 1989 with whom he had five more children with - four girls and a boy. Hajia Safinatu died in 2006 from complications from diabetes. Former Nigerian International goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare has reportedly lost his battle with cancer. The ex-Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper who had been receiving treatment at a Spanish hospital was said to have died yesterday January 26th.

Agbonavbare, who was a member of Nigeria’s U-21 Mexico 1983 Flying Eagles, lost his wife three years ago to breast cancer. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

Zahra Buhari, who broke the internet a few weeks ago when her beautiful pics hit the internet, has left twitter following serious bashing and criticisms from Nigerians who oppose her father's political ambition. The bashing came after Zahra tweeted support for her dad yesterday.

Guess she couldn't take it anymore and decided to delete her account or maybe she was made to? She used to tweet from Zahra3_ but the page no longer exists as at the time of this report.

Kidnappers Demand $100,000 For School Girl’s Ransom

This is indeed a sad story for the families of Okoro who gave their daughter some money to return back to her boarding school in Ikenne but was sadly kidnapped on her way from Ajah to school. Precious later found herself in Niger Republic and she has been there since last year. I wanted to read and summarize before, but after reading the story, I felt you should read it too. My only fear is that, they said rather too much. What if the kidnappers get to read this? May the Lord be with the poor little girl. Just too sad. Read her sad story after the cut. A Niger Republic-based kidnapping syndicate has demanded the payment of $100, 000 as ransom for the release of its 15-year-old victim, Precious Okoro.

The victim’s father, Nwaigwe, explained that Precious was kidnapped around Songotedo, in the Ajah area of Lagos State, where she had boarded a commercial vehicle en route to her school in Ikenne, Ogun State. He said he never knew his daughter had been abducted until two weeks later when the school management contacted him to say Precious had not reported in school.

Apparently most people thought it was only Paul Okoye and Anita who got married last week at Ikoyi Registry, Lagos. Peter did too and that’s a photo of them at the registry. Big congrats to the couple.

Bad! Husband and wife lead gang to rob in Ogun (See)

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a gang of armed robbers, including a couple, who allegedly went to rob in an estate at Abule Lemode in the Ijoko area of the state.

Our correspondent gathered that the four suspects ─ Amache and Seun Augustine, Taiwo Dada and Ezekiel Alawode ─ were apprehended while allegedly robbing at Santos Crescent, Araromi Estate.
