While people were busy celebrating love last Val’s Day, a family somewhere in Ebonyi was suddenly overtaken by grief over what would have been the beginning of a beautiful love story between their daughter and the man she was bringing home for introduction.

The young woman, a native of Uburu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, was bringing home her suitor when only a few poles to her family house, the vehicle they were traveling in had an accident and she watched helplessly as the one she loved took the last breath.

ISIS claims US female captive has been killed in Jordanian air strike

May or may not be true but ISIS is claiming female American aide worker who they've been holding hostage for a while, 26 year old Kayla Jean Mueller was killed today February 6th during Jordan's retaliation airstrikes on the group in Northern Syria. ISIS claimed the woman was being held in the building pictured right and shared pics of it's destruction, claiming it was destroyed by Jordan's airstrike.

"The failed Jordanian aircraft killed an American female hostage. No mujahid was injured in the bombardment, and all praise is due to Allah.” the group said in a statement released on their site.

33 year old Jessica Kilde, of Ogema, Minnesota, has been charged with murder after she admitted killing her boyfriend by tying him to a truck and dragging him along a rural road.
Jessica pleaded guilty at the Becker County District Court, to second-degree intentional murder for the death of her boyfriend, 41-year-old Richard Baity. According to prosecutors, sheriff's deputies found the body of Baity on the road about 50 yards from his driveway, which is located on E. 370th Street in Maple Grove Township. Police discovered a piece of rope around his neck.

Got this pic on my whats-app but wasn't able to get much details. The sender claims this woman's husband did this to her. Apparently this photo is being passed around on BlackBerry. They say her name is Yejide and her husband allegedly attacked her with an iron belt after suspecting her of infidelity. When I asked how a belt can do that to her body, they claimed it's because of the cream she uses, it left blood clot all over her skin (if that makes any sense). Anyone know who this woman is? South Africa's top TV presenter Simba Mhere dies in car crash

Popular South African TV presenter Simba Mhere (pictured above) died on Saturday January 31st in a deadly car crash in Johannesburg while on his way to the airport. The striking 31 year old presenter of Top Billing (he won the Top Billing Presenter search in 2010), originally from Zimbabwe and moved to Johannesburg when he was a year old, was killed when another car hit his in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was with a friend and his dad in the car.

Jilted Lover Kills Couple, Bride’s Mother On Wedding Day

A man who was apparently angry after being ditched by his girlfriend had caused serious chaos in the Ukala community of Delta State on Saturday, January 31, 2015 when he stormed the wedding venue of his ex-girlfriend, and shot the couple to death.

He went further to shoot sporadically at the guests who were gathered to witness the event and eventually killed the bride’s mother in the process. The venue of the ill-fated wedding, which was also to serve as reception for the guests, was laid waste when trouble started immediately after the couple’s first dance.
