Review: Korede Bello – Godwin

The Mavins are firing on all cylinders this 2015 just like they did in 2014. The latest product of this momentum is Korede Bello‘s new single, Godwin. It’s been buzzing over the past few weeks so I figured I’d go ahead and jump on it for a review.

On first listen, one can’t help but enjoy the totally positive and hopeful message about it.

"Everyone can relate to it because every human wants to be successful and jump all obstacles."

The lyrics make sure the song can cut across all classes and range of issues and accomplishments; from getting “bank alerts” to acing that difficult exam.

The song however can kinda get a bit monotonous after a while, but in the event that this will be played mostly in joyous situations, we’ll give it a pass. The beat from Don Jazzy is nice even if it’s not his best.

Overall it’s a good song, and most importantly, a song that’s very simple but still very powerful with its message. Korede Bello Godwin. Enjoy.
