President Jonathan wins in all 16 LGAs of Ekiti state
According to the INEC in Ekiti state, President Jonathan won in all the
16 Local Government Areas of the State in yesterday’s presidential
election.
The Chief Returning Officer for the Presidential election for Ekiti State and VC of Federal University of Technology, (FUTA), Akure, Prof. Biyi Daramola said during a briefing with journalists at INEC office in Ekiti state that president Jonathan scored a total of 176,474 votes while APC presidential candidate Gen. Buhari got 120,332 votes. He PDP also won all the three senatorial seats and 6 House of Reps seats in the state

Election result in Abuja so far: APC polls 10,853, PDP gets 7,762

Announcing the result, the Returning Officer, Dr. Abdullahi Mohammed Evuti of the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Abuja told journalists that the council has 10 wards and the total number of registered voters is 42, 401, while accredited voters is 20, 017.
A breakdown of votes received by political parties show ACPN 14, ADC 11, APC 10, 853, NCP 25, PDP 7,762, PPN 16, UDP 03, APA 26, AA 09, KOWA 03, CPP 16, HDP 02, AD 05 and UPP 02. Source -Vanguard

INEC releases Presidential results from 10 LGs in Ogun state. APC leading

INEC has released results of the Presidential election in 10 local governments in Ogun State. As at 2:pm on Sunday March 29th in Abeokuta, APC won seven with wide margin while PDP won the remaining three local government areas.
The local government areas released so far include Obafemi-Owode, Abeokuta North, Odogboolu, Odeda, Imeko-Afon, Sagamu, Ijebu-Ode, Remo-North, Ewekoro, and Ijebu North-East. See details after the cut...
Katsina state Police commissioner dies

The Nigeria Police has announced the death of Alhaji Muhammad Hurdi (pictured middle above), the Katsina State commissioner of police. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Aminu Sadiq announced the demise of Hurdi in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Katsina.
Sadiq said that Hurdi died on March 27, after a protracted illness. The late commissioner joined the service in 1988 as ASP cadet officer and rose through the ranks to the rank of a commissioner.

No restriction of movement today - IG of Police

The Inspector General of Police Suleiman Abba says there is no restriction of movement today nationwide. Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, the IG said despite the extension of the election in some areas, people can go about their business calmly.
APC Posting Fake Results- PDP Alerts...Says INEC Still Collating Authentic Figures

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has charged Nigerians to totally disregard misleading figures being circulated by the APC in the social media as results of the Presidential and National Assembly elections in some polling booths.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh in a statementon Sundaysaid the figures were “fake and do not represented the true results which are currently being collated by INEC, the only body authorized to release and announce results”.

President Jonathan reportedly loses to Buhari inside Aso Rock

How did this happen? According to reports by Punch and Vanguard, President Jonathan lost to Buhari in the election conducted inside Aso Rock. At polling unit 22, PDP had 302 votes while APC had 348 votes, while at polling unit 21 - PDP had 293 votes while APC had 265 votes.
Collation of results from both polling units gave the PDP a total vote of 595 while the APC had a total of 613 votes. The president won the election at the two polling units in 2011.
Meanwhile, APC won PDP 499 to 0 votes in Buhari’s polling unit in Sakin Yara “A”, Kofar Baru 3 in Daura LGA of Katsina state. Out of 501 votes cast in the presidential polls, APC got 499, PDP had no vote, while 3 votes were voided.
