Guys, Kindly Judge this Matter: Do You See Anything Wrong in What She Did to her Mother-in-law?

Please read Nairaland user, SO's story. Was this woman right to have defended her husband when his mum was quarreling with him:

There is a chaos going on now in a family whereby a man's mom is not in talking terms with her son's wife because she defended the son when the mother and the son were quarreling about something.

Now, half of the family say the wife did nothing wrong while the others said the wife should not have intervened. Did the wife do wrong by supporting her husband?
