It’s acts l!ke this that br!ng ridicule to the church, pe0ple pretending to be pastors and workers in church, who even go to church very early every Sunday but their hearts are dirty and in s0me cases evil.
A 42-year-old wom@n, Mrs. Doris Oseni, has told a Customary Court that sh-e c@u-ght h-er husband of 12 years, Pastor Oseni, on the floor of the church office, having s*x with another wom@n.
The w!fe, who is an evangelist in the church, therefore asked the court for the dissolution of their marr!age on the grounds of adultery, desertion and lack of l0ve on the part of the husband.
The plaintiff said h-er husband’s behaviour towards h-er changed after seven years of their marriage with no child, adding that the defendant had been sleeping around with different wom-en, most of whom were their church members.
Sh-e said, “Recently, after several days of abandoning me, I traced my husband to h!s church in a village not far from Ondo town. On getting there, I met him on the floor of the church office with one of the wom-en in the church. They were having s*x.”
Sh-e said sh-e reported h-er husband’s strange behaviour to h!s mother, adding that it did not stop him from the adulterous acts. sh-e prayed the court to separate them as sh-e was fed up.
Sh-e also accused the husband of having a child, who sh-e said was a product of h!s extra-marital affairs.
However, the 45-year-old Oseni pleaded with the court not to dissolve the marriage with h!s w!fe, saying he still l0ves he-r.
But i h!s ruling, the President of the court, Joshua Adunbi, said the words and b0dy language of the w!fe had sh0wn that sh-e was t!red of the union. He therefore ordered the dissolution of the m@rr!age.
